Chennai, May 1 (IANS): Filming for director Karthick Naren’s highly anticipated thriller ‘Nirangal Moondru’, starring actors Rahman, Atharvaa and Sarathkumar, has wrapped.
Taking to Twitter, director Karthick Naren said, “It’s over!” and Ayngaran International, the film’s producing company, confirmed this by tweeting, “This is a wrap for ‘Nirangal Moondru’. More updates on the way!”
“Nirangal Moondru” explores the three shades of each individual – black, white and gray, if the sources are to be believed.
The film has already generated huge interest among fans and moviegoers simply because this is the second time that Rahman and Karthick Naren have worked on a film together.
Prior to that, the two had worked together on a movie called “Dhuruvangal 16”, better known as “D-16”. The film was a neo-noir crime thriller that not only did well at the box office, but was also critically acclaimed.
Rahman played the lead role in the film that catapulted director Karthick Naren to fame.
K Karunamoorthy of Ayngaran International, who is producing the film, said earlier: “I can assure you that ‘Nirangal Moondru’ has a lot of surprise elements. It’s a hyperlink-drama-thriller, which will have the signature of Karthick Naren. It will have strong characters, twists and turns.”
The film has Jakes Bejoy scoring the music and Tijo Tomy spinning the camera.
Sreejith Sarang is the film’s editor, which has Don Ashok as its stunt choreographer.
